Meeting Links People
Can Actually Type.

Zoom, Google Meet and Teams links are long and full of codes. Turn them into a short link like urlyte.com/you/class that people can type from a slide or a poster, and keep the same link when the meeting changes.

Built for Meetings and Events

Easy to say and type

Replace zoom.us/j/8123…?pwd=Zk9… or a long Teams link with urlyte.com/you/standup.

One link, new meetings

Point the same branded link to next week's meeting. People keep one link in their calendar or bookmarks.

QR codes for posters

Count clicks by day, country and device, and see how many people opened the meeting link.

How to shorten a Zoom, Meet or Teams link

  1. Copy the meeting link

In Zoom, open the meeting and click Copy Invitation or Copy Link. In Google Meet, copy the meet.google.com link. In Teams, open the meeting and copy the join link.

  2. Keep the passcode in the link

A Zoom link with ?pwd=… lets people join without typing the passcode. If you remove it, people must type the passcode.

  3. Paste it into URLyte

Paste the meeting link into the box at the top of this page to get a short link at once.

  4. Brand it and reuse it

With a free account, use a name like urlyte.com/yourname/class. Next time, change where the link points instead of sharing a new link.

Common problems with meeting links

The meeting has ended or expired

A one-time meeting link stops working after the meeting. Point your branded link to the new meeting, and everyone keeps the same link.

People are asked for a passcode

Your link does not include the passcode (?pwd=…). Copy the full invitation link from Zoom, or share the passcode next to the link.

A personal meeting name on Zoom

Zoom's personal link name (zoom.us/my/yourname) is for licensed Zoom accounts. A branded URLyte link gives you a readable name on any plan, for Zoom, Meet or Teams.
