Best Link in Bio Tools in 2026: An Honest Comparison

Updated November 8, 2026 · by the URLyte team · 9 min read

Note: we make URLyte, one of the tools on this list. We say where other tools are better, and every price links to its source.

A link in bio page is the one link in your Instagram, TikTok or YouTube profile. It sends people to everything else: your shop, your latest video, your booking page. The right tool depends on one question: do you only share links, or do you also sell and collect emails?

How to choose

  1. 1

Do you sell on the page?

If you sell courses or downloads, a store tool such as Stan or Beacons saves steps. If you only share links, a store tool costs more than you need.

  2. 2

    Do you need click data?

Check what the free plan shows. Some show totals only, or only the last few days.

  3. 3

    Do you collect emails?

Check if email forms are on the free plan, and if you can export the list.

  4. 4

Does it look like your brand?

Look at themes, fonts and photos, and at whether you can remove the tool's logo.

  5. 5

What will it cost in a year?

Add the price for 12 months and any fee the tool takes on your sales.

  6. 6

    Will it grow with you?

Your own domain, more pages, and short links for the places where a bio link does not fit.

Questions

What is the best free link in bio tool?

It depends on what you need. If click data matters, pick a tool that shows it on the free plan, such as URLyte. If you want the most familiar format, Linktree's free plan works.

Is there a free Stan alternative?

Stan has no free plan. For a free bio page with a tip block and email signup, URLyte or Campsite work. For a store on a free plan, Beacons has one, with a 9% fee on sales.

Do link in bio tools take a fee on sales?

Some do. Beacons takes 9% below its $30 plan, and reports say Linktree takes 12% on its free plan. Stan and Campsite show 0%, but card processing fees still apply.

Can I move from Linktree to another tool?

Yes. Make the new page, add the same links, and change the link in your social profiles. The old page can stay until you are sure.
